ECA Murder Mystery Evening

We are holding a Murder Mystery Evening at Wymering Manor, Old Wymering Lane, Portsmouth, PO6 3NL presented by Torchlight Mysteries. An immersive Murder Mystery at Wymering Manor, Portsmouth, Hampshire by Torchlight Mysteries

We last did this back in 2018 and was a very successful evening and so we have decided to repeat it this year. The theme this time is around the Second World War:

It's 1941 and The War ravages the world. Loyalties are questioned and bombs dropped. Dr. Black, a prominent ally in the war effort, has organised a dinner to lift people's spirits. Bringing his home and work together including his step-daughter Dorothy Pine, a tom-boyish girl wanting nothing more than to help the troops, his oldest friend the drunk & haunted Captain Abraham Straw, his personal assistant the cold & calculating Abigail Blanc, Miss Betty Rust a loving & lovable nurse working for Black, one of Black's top scientists the brilliant but restrained Dr. Sascha Peuce, and reluctantly the brash Lieutenant Howard Periwinkle Jr. Black survived the first world war, but can he survive the night?

So you can come dressed for the occasion if you wish (not mandatory), anything from local estate worker to Duchess Hoi-polloy. For those who have not attended such an event before there will be a number of actors intermingling with us during the meal who will need to be questioned. They will also accompany groups around the manor to look for physical clues throughout the evening.

The event will be open to friends and family (max 4) and will be £45 per head which includes a welcoming glass of Prosecco, 2 course dinner followed by tea and coffee and mints. We have room for 40. Please bring your own drinks (alcoholic or otherwise). food choices are made when booking.

Arrive for 19:15 for introductory drink and activities, with the food starting at 20:00.

Please book a ticket per person coming.

Note that parking is on the street around the manor so allow some time for this.
