ECA Rally to Warsash (Harbourmasters Pontoon)
A second shakedown cruise for those who weren't able to make Bembridge. It is Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
Friday 1st HW Chichester is at 12:21 BST 4.5m
Leave EYH around 10:30 or so to head for Warsash.
Pontoon Party, at 18.30, then do your own thing. There is a fish and chip shop locally that closes at 21:00, also the Rising Sun overlooking the harbour.
Saturday 2nd May
Around 10:00, a trip across the river to the Hamble, via the Pink Ferry. For those interested in the Treasure Hunt, form in groups of 4 to 6 and explore the local area using a commercially produced Treasure Trail based around Hamble village. There are many pubs and cafes in Hamble Village and by the river for lunch.
Saturday evening, a meal at Warsash Sailing Club has been booked. Menu is under discussion and pre-booking/deposit may be required, if necessary, a separate ticket will be generated for this.
Sunday 3rd May
A couple of options; a free day, or if interested a walk south along the Solent Way towards Solent Breezes Holiday Village with three route options for returning to Warsash with the choice of lunch at The Silver Fern or one of the local Cafes. The short route would be about 3-4km with the longest route about 7 -8 km. To be decided during the weekend
Sunday evening, will be eat on board with an option of a meal (or bar snack, evening drink) at The Rising Sun.
Monday 4th May; HW Chichester is at 14:06 BST 4.5m
Leave for EYH 10:30 or so to get back for HW.

Participating Skippers are reminded that all ECA rallies and events are carried out under rule 22 of the Emsworth Cruising Association Rules as published in the ECA Yearbook.
Participation in an ECA Rally or event is taken as acknowledgement and understanding of this rule.
The ECA draws to the attention of skippers and crew attending, that full responsibility for sea worthiness of boats and experience of crew attending is held with the skipper of the boat sailing to the rally. All information given should be checked before setting out.
