ECA Rally to Marchwood and Warsash - Friday 10th May to Monday 13th May
This is a rally up Southampton Water to Marchwood Sailing Club and then returning via Warsash Harbour Masters walk ashore pontoon. Marchwood are a very friendly club with good facilities. There is limited space on the pontoons hence our numbers are limited. It can also be shallow on the nearer shore side. We have arranged to have a meal in the clubhouse on the Saturday evening. Please make you choices from the menu below when booking. For those interested we are looking to walk into Eling along the shoreline on Saturday so there is the option to visit The Anchor Inn for lunch. On Sunday we head to Warsash on The Hamble. There is the option to eat in the Rising Sun Pub for those interested.
Friday 10th May

For those in EYH with sailboats leave around 11:30.
Marchwood has walk ashore pontoons. The inner one can be quite shallow on approach. There will usually be someone available on the pontoons to help with berthing.
Drinks in the bar from 19:00. It is a club themed evening (theme is France) and we will be welcome to join in. Drinks on pontoon beforehand. Food on board.
Saturday 11th May
Day in and around Marchwood. Walk into Eling and lunch in The Anchor Inn for those interested.
Evening drinks and meal in Marchwood Sailing Club starting at 19:00. Drinks on Pontoon beforehand.
Sunday 12th May

Leave Marchwood around 12:00 and head down Southampton water and then up the Hamble to the Warsash Harbour Master's walk-ashore pontoon.
Pontoon Drinks at 17:30 and a meal in the Rising Sun pub for those who wish to eat ashore. There are 2 other pubs and a fish and chip shop in Warsash as well.
Monday 13th May

Leave Warsash around 12:00 for a leisurely sail back to EYH who want to arrive around HW.

Participation in an ECA Rally or event is taken as acknowledgement and understanding of this rule.
The ECA draws to the attention of skippers and crew attending, that full responsibility for sea worthiness of boats and experience of crew attending is held with the skipper of the boat sailing to the rally. All information given should be checked before setting out.
