*** Cancelled *** ECA Mid-Week Cowes Rally

Unfortunately CYH are still not taking visitors. They hope to after July the 4th depending on govt. announcements.

This rally will only take place should the restrictions around Covid-19 be sufficiently relaxed to enable it to do so. We won't know if we can go ahead until a day or so before the rally but if you are interested please register for the event by booking on the website. This rally replaces the mid-week Solent Rally which has now been moved into July.

Monday 22nd destination Cowes Yacht Haven

Leave EYH around 11:00 to arrive at Cowes Yacht Haven around 15:00. Approaching the Medina please call Cowes Yacht Haven on VHF channel 80 (or phone 01983 299975) for berthing instructions or lookout for other ECA rally boats as they try to put us all together. There won't be the usual pontoon party or visit to an eatery for the obvious reasons but we should be able to meet up and socially distance on the quayside.

Rather than go ashore for a meal, there are plenty of takeaway options in Cowes for eating aboard if you don't want to cook.

Tuesday 23rd destination Home

HW Chichester 13:57 BST 4.5m

Leave Cowes at 11:00 BST(marina check out time) and head back to home berths. There may be an option to stay longer or go on somewhere but will be left up to participants to decide what they wish to do beyond this point.

Participating Skippers are reminded that all ECA rallies and events are carried out under rule 22 of the Emsworth Cruising Association Rules as published in the ECA Yearbook.

Participation in an ECA Rally or event is taken as acknowledgement and understanding of this rule.

The ECA draws to the attention of skippers and crew attending, that full responsibility for sea worthiness of boats and experience of crew attending is held with the skipper of the boat sailing to the rally. All information given should be checked before setting out.
