ECA 60th Anniversary Dinner/Dance

ECA 60th Anniversary Dinner/Dance at Hayling Island Sailing Club - 18:30 to Midnight

As it is our 60th anniversary this year the fitting out supper will be a black tie dinner/dance held at Hayling Island Sailing Club.

The price is £70 per ticket and guests are most welcome. The event will also be open to other clubs in the area.

Please book a ticket per person coming, where you can make your menu choices.(Note: if you are not a member you will need to create an account on our website before you can reserve tickets). If you are a non-club member who wishes to book but don't want to use our online booking system then please contact The Treasurer via email: treasurer@emsworthcruisingassociation.co.uk with your name and phone number and he will call to take booking details.

If you wish to take advantage of a coach between EYH, The Square Emsworth, and HISC (and back) there are seats available at around £15 per head. Please indicate when booking.

There is some basic accommodation available at HISC if you don't want to travel back directly after. Book directly with the club.

For ECA members, if there is sufficient interest we may run a minibus or 2 from Emsworth Square via Emsworth Yacht Harbour at extra cost. Please indicate your interest when booking.

Menu: (make selections when booking your tickets)

Starters:

  • Smoked Salmon and smoked haddock terrine with charred brioche and a cheese and chive sauce
  • Smoked duck with blood orange three ways
  • Roasted vegetable tart with buffalo mozzarella, oven burst vine tomatoes and balsamic reduction (V)


    • Main Courses:

  • Roast sea bass fillet with truffle potato gratin, grilled zucchini and champagne beurre blanc
  • Chicken Breast stuffed with Wild Mushroom, dauphinoise potatoes, confit garlic and red wine jus
  • Moroccan Vegetable Tagine with Harissa and Couscous Fritters (Vegan)


    • Desserts:

  • Chocolate brownie with ice-cream, chocolate basket, marshmallows and raspberry sauce
  • Apple and blackberry crumble tartlet with whipped cream and brown butter custard
  • Spice plum Eton mess with sorbet and biscoff crumb
  • Cheeseboard

    ECA 60th Anniversary Dinner/Dance (Fitting Out Supper)

    Please book a ticket per person attending. If you are not a member you will need to create an account on our website before you reserve tickets (See the ‘create account’ link at the bottom of the booking page). You will be invoiced, and payment must be received within 2 weeks of booking or no later than 2 weeks before the event, whichever comes first (payment is via bank transfer). If payment is not received then your bookings(s) may be cancelled. Refunds will only be paid if the event is cancelled by the ECA; or on individual cancellation if at least 7 days or more before the event. Individual cancellations within 7 days of the event will not be refunded.
