A long weekend in Cowes. Bit of a sail over on Friday until the wind turned SW. Pontoon Party followed by Fish & Chips for many on Friday evening. Staurday saw several of us catch the bus to Carisbrook Castle for a day out. A lovely time was had by all and worth a visit. Meal in the Duke of York in the evening, our favourite pub. Sunday was a bit of a lazy day with short walks and shopping. Lunchtime carvery at Island Sailing Club in the conservatory, smashing! Pontoon party on Sea Us Out in the evening. Lovely sail back to Chichester Harbour on the Monday. A lovely weekend which the cool temperatures and small amount of rain failed to dampen.
