Renewing your ECA Membership
Membership Renewal is due on the 1st of January each year. If your membership renewal is not received by the 28th February your membership will lapse and you will need to re-apply.
If you wish to renew your ECA Membership then please download and complete the Membership Renewal Form found at the link below. We cannot renew your membership until we have received a completed form. This ensures we have accurate and up to date details of you.
Once you have downloaded the form you can complete it in a number of ways:
- Print it, complete the fields by pen and post the completed form to the address we will supply (see process below for obtaining the address and sending payment).
- Print it, complete the fields by pen, then scan and email the form to: email@example.com. (See process below for obtaining payment details, and sending payment).
- Open the form in a suitable pdf browser* (e.g. Adobe Acrobat), complete the fields in the form on your device and save the form. You can then email the saved form as an attachment to: firstname.lastname@example.org. (See process below for obtaining payment details and sending payment).
- As per 3. Above but print and post the completed and saved form to the address we will supply (see processes below for obtaining the address and payment details, and sending payment).
Data Protection Form
If you wish to change the data protection options to those you submitted last year you will also need to complete and send a revised ECA Data Protection Form in the same way that you have completed and sent your Membership Renewal Form. If you do not do so we will use the options we received from you previously. The data protection form can be found at the link below.
You can include this form along with your Membership Renewal Form as a printed copy, or an email attachment, depending on how you are sending that form.
ECA Constitution and Rules
Before you submit your Membership Renewal Form make sure you are familiar with the ECA Constitution and Rules so that you can tick the associated check box on the Membership Renewal Form. The ECA Constitution and Rules are in the Yearbook. They may also be found at the link below.
Obtaining an address to post the form:
Send an email to email@example.com with the subject line ‘ECA Membership Renewal’ and in the body of the email include your name and contact phone number. Our membership secretary will get back to you with postal address details.
Obtaining payment details:
If you are posting your form to the membership secretary then you can send a cheque with your form. If you wish to pay via online banking then include the sentence ‘I wish to pay via online banking’ in the body of the email you sent to obtain an address to send it. The membership secretary will provide account details and a reference number to use to make the payment.
If you are submitting your form via email, either as a scanned copy or a completed pdf form, then include the sentence ‘I wish to pay via online banking’ in the body of the email in which you submit the form. The membership secretary will provide account details and a reference number to use to make the payment.
