This is our February get-together and an opportunity to “fly the flag” for the Association and return the hospitality shown by other Solent Clubs and Organisations.
The details are:
Date: Saturday 22Feb 2014
Time: 12:00 noon to 14:00hrs
Venue: The Stables, Eames Farm.
Eames Farm is run by the Chichester Harbour Conservancy and is a newly converted
stable, set on an organic farm in an idyllic location with ample parking and full disabled
access. Full details are available on the Conservancy website.
We will be featuring a “rolling” slide show of our photos of our members, their boats and
our cruising grounds to show our guests what we get up to. If you have any photos you
would like to include, please let me know.
The Stables can hold up to 120 people, so please come along and support your
Association and show the other Clubs and Organisations what we can do!
We have booked the venue from 09:00hrs to 17:30hrs to allow time for setting up and
clearing away afterwards and if you are able to help you will be most welcome!
After that, we have the option of gathering in one of the many excellent pubs or
restaurants in Emsworth for the evening.
Please indicate if you are coming so that we can ensure everyone is catered for. Traditionally, all ECA Members and their personal guests pay a small sum towards their own food and drink costs on the day, however this year we have decided that this will also be free to members.
Dress Code; Smart casual (preferably free from antifouling splashes…)
Take the Thorney Road. After half a mile, turn right and the Stabes is the second
